The Way

There’s no better way to see a country, meet new people, and ultimately discover yourself than by walking 400 miles alone.

One of the hardest things I’ve every done, I would do all over again in a heart beat…

  • x8 days straight with rain + x2 additional days of rain with x1 lightening storm

  • x2 falls

  • x1 extremely sore & swollen foot (starting on day 4!)

  • x2 very sore knees

  • x2 different dog attacks

  • The Pope died

  • x1 day with a country wide power outage

  • x3 pairs of shoes

  • Multiple mosquito bites

  • A runny nose

  • A few unnamed life savers

  • A few amazing conversations

  • Finding peace in one’s self & around you; living in the moment

  • A lifetime of memories … and so much more
